Apparently, he’s been suffering from some sort of mysterious ailment while being held in a maximum-security prison in Melekhovo. His spokesperson, Kira Yarmysh, has said that an ambulance had to be called for him due to severe stomach pain. But get this, he’s been banned from buying alternative food since Monday, and the prison food is making his pain worse. Yarmysh is convinced that he’s being slowly poisoned in small doses! Can you believe it?
This isn’t the first time that Navalny has had to deal with such a situation. He’s a former lawyer who has been speaking out against President Putin and alleging widespread corruption for over a decade. Because of this, the Russian authorities view him as an extremist with ties to the CIA, which has forced many of his supporters to flee the country. But that’s not all, in 2020 he survived an apparent attempt on his life when he was poisoned with a nerve agent during a flight in Siberia, which he accused the Russian government of being behind.
It’s all so impulsively insane! How can this happen? The Kremlin has declined to comment on the matter, but something needs to be done to help Navalny. It’s absolutely vital that we all pay attention to what’s happening to him, otherwise, he might just disappear like so many others have before him.
